PeachesLiterally Make Cancer Kill Itself. Here’s How

We all have heard the saying “an apple a day keeps the doctor away”. But have you heard that 3 peaches a day can keep cancer away? Not only do they prevent it, but they also make it go away by making the cancerous cells kill themselves, a new study states.
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Giuliana Noratto, researcher in the area of food science at the Washington State University, with a team at Texas A & M, has discovered that a chemical peaches contain, polyphenol, stimulate e human body to kill the metastatic cancerous cells. More precisely, it stimulates certain signals in those cells and makes them destroy themselves.
In an experiment with rats, where breast cancer cells were injected in the body of the rats, it was found that the metastatic process of spreading cancerous cells is slowed down. Breast cancer happens most often in American women and that’s why the experiment was conducted on this type of cancer at first, but they also found later that the polyphenols from peaches have the same effect on all types of cancers.
Safer Than Chemo
The difference between the effect of the polyphenols and chemotherapy is that the polyphenols are cellular-selective and they only kill cancer cells. The rest of the healthy cells remain unharmed. The scientists hope that a highly-concentrated peach extract will replace the current treatments which are not side-effect free.
The final test results showed that if a 140-pounds woman takes three peaches daily, she gets the amount of polyphenol needed to fight cancer. At the beginning of the experiment, the researchers noticed that the growth of the cancer cells slowed down and they weren’t surprised by that fact, but by the next one. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); The team of Giuliana Noratto was surprised when the cancerous cells began to die off, and it all happened because they’d received signals “to commit suicide” by the compound in the peaches. This prevented the disease to spread.
“We didn’t even think of metastasis at the time.”
The team then decided to abandon the practice of chemotherapy and oppose the doctors in light of this natural choice. They didn’t even think of metastasis at the beginning, but instead, they were focused on killing cancer cells. 12 days have passed when the team noticed that the blood vessel formation that spreads these malicious cells in the body was slowing down and the activity of the enzymes responsible for invasion and spreading of cancer was reduced.
The research also discovered that the more red a peach is the more cancer-fighting ingredients it contains. Good starting points are the following types: Crest Haven, Red Haven, Blushing Star and Elberta, or Rich lady, which was used in the research.
Well That’s Just Peachy
Another fact that was noticed by the team is that the cancer-fighting compounds of peaches (also known as apoptosis) are not stable when heated. Avoid using canned peaches and use the fresh ones. They’re also juicier. In the study was used an extract as well, so next time you go to the grocery store ask for peach extract that contains chlorogenic and neochlorogenic compounds. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); It is worth to notice that the peach extract used in the experiment attacked only the most aggressive cancer cells in the mice, and almost no harm was made on the normal cells.
